Chaser Grinder

The Chaser Grinder is a precision grinding machine designed for grinding HSS Chasers as well as other conventional cutting tools. An 8″ diameter cup wheel is fitted at one end for HSS chaser grinding, while a 10″ diameter grinding wheel is mounted at the other end for grinding conventional tools.

The secondary slide carrying the chaser is equipped with a precision lead screw and a graduated disc with 0.001″ divisions, allowing close and accurate control of the grinding operation. The specially designed chaser holder can accommodate 2¼″ or 1″ chasers and provides a 5° clearance angle.
